Clay, porcelain, &c. plastic compositions.-A composition of raw clay, calcined clay, and vitriiying material such as feldspar, with or without ground flint for making the insulating portions of sparking-plugs contains not less than 60 per cent of raw clay and not more than 10 per cent of feldspar. A suitable composition is stated to contain 60 per cent raw clay, 30 per cent calcined clay, some of which may be replaced by flint, and 10 per cent feldspar.
