Abstract

Body motion and d weight of rider, propelling by.-Relates to a wheeled toy of the kind adapted to be propelled by the shifting of the weight of the rider and comprises a frame 6, Fig. 1, supported by two wheels 1, 3 of which the rear wheel 1 is eccentrically pivoted. The weight of the rider is taken by rigid foot rests 13 on the upstroke and by a seat 12 on the downstroke. The front fork 7 is pivoted to the frame and provided with handles 9 for steering purposes. In a modification, two front wheels 54, Fig. 7, mounted on blocks 48 are provided. The blocks 48 are pivoted to a fixed bar 44 and to a parallel bar 49 connected to the steering post 50. The wheels of the toy may be fitted with hollow rubber tyres with twisted wire cores.
