[Classes 136 (i), 136 (ii) and 136 (iii)] In a child's four-wheeled toy vehicle of the type comprising a seat extending the whole length of the vehicle and a front axle centrally pivoted to a bracket projecting downwardly from the front of the seat so that the vehicle can be steered by the child's feet acting on footrests on the front axle, the front axle 23 is provided with foot rests 27 situated between the two front wheels 24. The vehicle is propelled by a lever 54, Fig. 1, passing through a slot 51, Fig. 2, in the seat 11. Upwardly and downwardly projecting flanges 52, 53 are provided along each side of the slot. The lever has telescopically adjustable attachments 57, 63 for a cross handle 59 and a connecting rod 66 respectively. Guards 25 prevent contact between the child's feet and the front wheels. The seat may be adapted to carry more than one child one behind the other, Fig. 8. Each position is provided with a propelling lever 54<SP>1</SP>, 54<SP>11</SP> linked together by a rod. The child riding on the rear seat is provided with foot rests 84 adjustable vertically and horizontally.
