Abstract

In distilling hydrocarbon oils and tars by passing them through a heated bath of molten metal such as tin or tin alloys and then into an evaporating chamber, the metal bath contains metals such as lead, zinc or calcium which will combine with sulphur. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 8336/09, 116,304 and 141,223, [all in Class 32, Distilling &c.].
