182,026. Head, H. W., Hick, M. D., and Byass, A. Aug. 16, 1921. Confetti.-Confetti is made from the outer films or husks of the seed pods of the plant known as Honesty. The husks are soaked in a strong solution of chloride of lime, washed, and then placed in a weak solution of hydrochloric acid. They are again washed, passed through a solution of sodium hyposulphite, dried, and heated in an oven. The confetti may be dyed and perfumed.
