Mud-guards rotating with wheels.-Mud-guards for preventing the lateral splashing of mud from the wheels of road vehicles consist of a strip 1 of flexible material reinforced bv a resilient nlate or plates 2. The resilient reinforcement may be in one piece or in sections placed either end to end or spaced apart, and is placed in a slit 3 in the material. The slit 3 may be lined with rubber insertion 4. The plates 2 are set outwards from the wheel at their outer ends, and at their inner ends may be provided with hooks 10 for attachment to the rim.
