Catamenial appliances.-The appliance consists of a strip a of india-rubber or similar waterproof fabric, having its sides curved inwardly and provided with two extension pieces b at each end, adapted for connection to a waist-belt, or to straps carried by a waist-belt, and an absorbent pad d attached to the strip a by means of loops c through which the extension pieces bare passed.
