Abstract
177,779. La BoissiÞre, J. de, (Assignee of Morel, L.). March 29,1921, [Convention date]. Sparking-plugs. - The two portions a, b of the insulation are secured in position by a threaded rod j which engages either the metal tube i or directly with the insulator a, and forces the members a, b away from each other and against shoulders in the casing c. The flange o or insulator a is slotted or recessed to permit the passage of flange projections on the insulator a or flange o respectively, the insertion being followed by a relative rotation of a right-angle before screwing in the rod j against the head f of the rod e. A sparli-gap t may be formed within the plug by interposing a washer r of insulating-material, with, if desired, a metal discs s.
