Printing-surfaces; transferring designs; transfers.-A process for transferring drawings to lithographic stones consists in producing a negative on gelatine, in the known manner, by pressing an unwashed blue print of the drawing on to gelatine containing a ferrous salt, and transferring an impression from this negative on to the stone by means of a plate of celluloid or similar material.
