Abstract

204,300. Glaser, P. G. Sept. 19, 1922, [Convention date]. Printing processes.-A method of producing designs on celluloid and like material consists in applying a design in printing-inks and metal powders to one surface of the celluloid &c. by means of transfer paper after applying a solvent to the surface of the celluloid &c. and impressing a line pattern on the opposite surface of the celluloid &c. by means of an engraved matrix. The design is printed on the transfer paper with ordinary printing-inks and is dusted with the metal powders. After the transfer is effected, the design may be covered with a celluloid sheet secured by means of a solvent of celluloid.
