Seat adjustments; bottoms.-Metal chairs are provided with telescopic leg adjustments, each comprising a tubular leg member a, an upper telescopic rod f, a longitudinal slot g in the part a, a transverse threaded aperture i in the rod f to receive a slidable thumb-screw h, and a washer j and convex shield k, the latter embracing the tubular leg. The upper extremities of the rods f may be rotatably secured, by countersunk rivets e to bracing-strips c, and a seat member m, n of the kind described in Specification 142,208 may be detachably screwed to the strips c.
