Pivoting-adjustments.-In wind-screens of the kind in which the bottom tubular frame-member is revolubly mounted on a split inner tube carried on brackets fixed to the vehicle frame, the inner tube a is expanded into frictional engagement with the inside of the outer tube c by a clamping-screw f, Fig. 4, bearing at its inner end against the inner surface of the inner tube. In a preferred construction, Fig. 2, the screw f screws into a block e which is housed within the inner tube. A transverse slot g in the inner tube allows for the rotation of the block and screw when it is desired to adjust the outer tube c. More than one screw may be used if desired.
