Atmospheric gas burners.-A fitting 1 for a burner, having a gas and primary air supply, comprises a lower cylindrical por- : tion, having notches 2 in its lower edge for the supply of additional air or oxygen, and an upper frusto-conical portion 3, having a circular flameorifice 5 at the top and four oblong flame-orifices 6 spaced equidistantly midway its end, the circular and oblong flame-orifices having inwardly flaring walls.
