Kettles; handles; spouts; vessels specially shaped for placing together.-A lidless kettle has a detachable handle c the ends of which are formed with keyhole slots c<2> adapted to take over and be engaged by studs k on the body. The spout and filling-opening b is of such size as to permit the detached handle to be placed within the body. The spout, which is preferably triangular or V-shaped, is so dimensioned that it does not' interfere with the packing of a number of the kettles in contact in rows arranged side by side. A hinged cover d for the spout is provided with a thumb-piece h also acting as a stop, or alternatively with a depending lip in front. A vent-hole to which may be attached a whistling device is provided at the top of the kettle.
