Supports for articles to be heated.-A castmetal plate a, in one or more pieces, is arranged to support articles to be grilled beneath gas flames and adapted to receive and retain sufficient heat to cook the underside of such articles while the upper side is cooked by direct heat from the flames. The plate may be grooved and perforated as shown at d, e, and it may be provided with handles b. It may be supported on guides f beneath the burners g, a drip-pan h being placed below it.
