Flat endless-belt conveyers and elevators.-In a wire belt conveyer &c., one or both of the selvedge links adjacent to the hinge-pins are formed as slotted offset links G to protect the ends of the hinge-pins D from wear, and the bent ends D<1> of adjacent pins interlock after passing through the slots. The links G may be flanged instead of being offset.
