Abstract

1367463 Conveyer belts U MEC-BOYDELL (BELTING) Ltd 17 Nov 1971 [17 Nov 1970] 54538/70 Heading B8A An endless conveyer belt is formed from an assemblage of members 12 which are of cast or moulded form, and by virtue of slots 15, have a grating-like appearance. There is provision for bolting on sides 22. The members are connected by transverse rods (11) (Figs. 1 and 3, not shown). Lugs 13 for the rods (11) may be of dovetail shape in plan view (Fig. 5, not shown), and the holes in the lugs may be elongated in the direction of conveyance (Fig. 6, not shown). These two features make it possible for the belt to travel in a curve disposed in the plane of the belt.
