Electrodes.-A grid for a storage battery is provided with perforations 3 at some or all of the intersections of the bars to allow the electrolyte to pass from one side of the grid to the other. The bars may be of greater thickness at the perforated intersections which accordingly project above the rest of the grid and form flanges when the grid is compressed thus preventing the paste from passing into the perforations.
