Abstract

166,019. Dadley, W. T., and Dadley, C. F. May 21, 1920. Lantern gratings. -An anti-dazzle device for vehicular lamps comprises a grid or grill consisting of vertical strips A held at suitable intervals apart by one or more horizontal diametrically arranged wires C or strips fixed to a frame D having clips or screws E for attaching it to the outside or inside of the lamp. The Provisional Specification also states that the grid or grill may consist of a flat spiral formed by coiling a thin metal strip and secured in position by horizontal and vertical diametrically-arranged wires or strips.
