Abstract

165,673. Jones, W. July. 12, 1920. Drawings to Specification. Multiple-chamber kilns.-Round brick kilns are connected by flues so that after the burning operation has been completed in one kiln the remaining heat can be utilized for drying green goods in another. The kilns described are of the downdraught type with central chimneys, and when four kilns arranged in a rectangle are employed the connections are such that any one can be put in direct communication with any other. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16258/96 and 24247/01.
