Abstract

165,661. Pearson, W. J. June 25, 1920. Gloves.-The skins of potatoes &c. are removed by hand coverings, having an abrasive palm consisting of woven flat wires which are interwoven with an impervious inner fabric. The abrasive surface may cover the palm, fingers and thumb and may consist of parallel wires only and may be woven into a separate piece of fabric which is sewn to the glove. A cutter b for removing eyes, strengthened by a central corrugation and curved transversely, is stitched to the back of the forefinger and is gripped between that finger and the thumb when in use. Elastic is inserted in the wrist to keep the glove in position.
