Abstract

165,577. Brown, M. V. April 16, 1920. Helical springs. - Helical wire springs for upholstery &c. have their end coils a<1> reversed so as to form a loop a<2> which anchors the end of the wire and prevents it from slipping along the coil. The invention may be applied to springs having their end coils formed with corrugations as described in Specification 164,821, and to springs with rectangular end loops.
