Abstract

165,153. Aviss, A. March 13, 1920. Corrugated paper.-In the manufacture of backed corrugated paper, cardboard, &c., fixed parallel wires 13, which pass between the corrugated rollers and are secured at their extremities, bear against the corrugated paper and retain it in engagement with the corrugated roller 1 during the application of adhesive by rollers 7, 8 and until it reaches the nip of the plain roller 10 by which the backing 11 is applied. The lower roll 2 is grooved circumferentially to receive the wires.
