654,073. Corrugated paper &c. DRY CORRUGATING METHOD V/AKSELBO, BERBOM OG DROSTHOLM. Sept. 12, 1947. No. 25082. Convention date, Jan. 14, 1944, [Class 96] [Also in Group VII] Cardboard &c. 6 from a roll 7 is corrugated between toothed rollers 4, 5 which are so dimensioned that only one tooth of one roller, e.g. the roller 5, is in driving engagement with the other roller at any time, the teeth which may have concave outer surfaces, being ridged at their edges and grooved along their bases to avoid rupturing the cardboard &c. and to soften it where it is sharply bent. Strips of backing material as from a roll 10 may be glued on to one or both surfaces of the corrugated sheet. The corrugating roller 5 may be supported at its ends only, or intermediately also. The product may be dried by highfrequency heating.
