Abstract

163,961. Murch, J., Murch, J. H., Murch, F. G., and Murch, W. Dec. 7,1920. Ploughs.-A reversible plough is provided with two beams 12, 13 attached to draw-bars 17, 18 loosely pivoted on a transverse shaft 21 on the main frame 10<a>, so that the one beam may be lowered to operative position in the centre line of the plough while the other is raised and moved laterally. To guide the plough beams while being raised and lowered, each beam passes outside of a guide 34 positioned on a rearward extension 10 of the main frame and the corresponding draw-bar extends on the inside thereof. A chain 23 connects the beams 12, 13 and passes over wheels 24, 25 which may be rotated from a hand-wheel 31 to raise or to lower the one or the other plough beam.
