Abstract

163,670. Signal Ges. May 21, 1920, [Convention date]. Locating sounds.-In the binaural method of determining the direction of sounds, means are provided between the listening points 3, 4 and the ears whereby right-hand sounds can be directed to the left ear and left-hand sounds to the right ear. As shown the apparatus is mechanical and the change-over device is a ported valve @8, but microphone receivers in an electric circuit can be employed, in which case the change-over is effected by a switch.
