Abstract

306,044. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Zimmerman, A. (G.). Feb. 14, 1928, [Convention date]. Addition to 250,931. Magnetic instruments.-In a sound reproducing apparatus having a diaphragm actuated by a coil located in an annular magnetic airgap, the impedance of the coil is lowered by covering at least the active area of one or both pole pieces with a layer of conductive non-magnetic material. In the construction shown, the pole pieces 6, 7 are provided with copper linings 9, 10 respectively. Specification 271,326 is referred to.
