Abstract

PURPOSE:To give a stereo unit, used in an car room, the same effect as acoustic characteristics in a room of a general home, by providing a delay unit which delays an acoustic output signal and a reverb circuit. CONSTITUTION:At the output side of stereo tape deck tuner 40 with L-channel and R-channel signal output terminals L and R, time delay circuit 60 is provided which equalizes the time for the reach of the signal from speaker 12R to the ear of listener 30 to that for a signal from speaker 12L, as well as attenuator 70 which controls volumes of both speakers 12R and 12L and phase inverter 80 which expands sound images from speakers 12L and 12R out of dotted line A. Then, time delay circuit 60 provides simultaneous listening of sounds from speakers 12R and 12L and phase inverter 80 adds reverberation effect, thereby realizing the same effect as acoustic characteristics at a wide place.
