Globes.-The upper part of a glass reflecting globe of a miners' electric safety or similar lamp is flat at the top and is formed internally with an inverted conical portion F. The edge D is domed or rounded and the flat surface AB may be silvered. The conical portion F may be provided with a recess C for a spring pressing on the. top of the lamp bulb.
