Tension apparatus; fractured limbs, supports for.-A bedframe for use in the treatment of fractures and for similar surgical use of the kind that is placed on the floor over a bed in any position relative to the bed but not fixed thereto is made from tubes A connected by elbow-pieces C and resting on six ball feet F, three being at the base of each vertical tube. Slidably mounted on the tubes A are any convenient number of twobranch cross-heads D and three-branch crossheads E into which are screwed tubular arms G of any convenient length. The cross-heads are clamped to the tubes A between the ends of the tubular arms G and the end of the clamping- handle. Universal swivelling pulleys are carried by a clip ring (not shown) clamped to the tubular arms G or the frame A by means of wing- nuts, or ordinary pulleys carried by hooks may be used and be connected to the bars A or arms G as above. A hand grip for the use of the patient may be suspended form the horizontal bar of the frame. The whole can be taken apart readily and packed into small space.
