Abstract
159,815. Soc. GÚnÚrale d'Evaporation ProcÚdÚs Prache et Bouillon. March 5, 1920, [Convention date]. Separate heater and evaporator apparatus.-In evaporating liquids such as salt, electrolytic soda, or sodium sulphate solutions, the formation of crystals on the heating-surfaces is prevented by circulating liquid containing suspended crystals which exert a mechanical cleaning-action. The apparatus comprises an open or closed vessel 1 with a conical base 2 from which crystals may be discharged, connected by pipes 7, 8, with a tubular heater 4, through which liquid containing suspended crystals is circulated by a propeller 10.
