Boots and shoes; foot-arch supports.-A combined shank and arch support A is made of metal bowed upwardly from the planes of the anterior and posterior ends and formed with flattened corrugations B underneath, which may be opened out as shown at C to shape the shank. It is secured between the insole D and outer sole E between the lines of stitches which serve to hold the vamp, welt and soles together.
