Abstract

According to the parent Specification ferro-chrome is dissolved in sulphuric acid and a soluble potash salt is added after the removal of some of the iron, as ferrous sulphate by crystallization; the present modification consists in the use of any soluble alkali salt, e.g. of ammonia or sodium, in place of potash salts.
