Seats, arrangement and disposition of. - In order to avoid the provision of two foldable emergency seats located adjacent to the doors of a motor-carriage, the sides k, i of the carriage are widened at their upper parts so as to project over the rear wheels e, f and to provide space for two fixed front seats c, d with an intervening passage l communicating between the rear seats a, band the doors r, s. The enlarging of the sides k, i provides table-like surfaces m in front of and at the sides of the rear seats, and these may combine with a surface n at the back of the rear seats to form a semicircular platform. The passage l may be occupied by a folding table or by a folding emergency seat, while an additional emergency seat t may be arranged upon the centre of the wall u behind the driver's seat.
