Fenders. - The central and side members of fenders are each formed of two metal strips, one, Fig. 3, forming the front plate and the other, which is of angle section, Fig. 5, the bottom and back plates, flanges a, b, c, d being provided along their longitudinal edges, which are turned over each other to connect the parts. Lugs e may be provided at the ends of the back plates for connecting the central and side members. Shoes or mitre plates, Fig. 9, are secured over the corners by turning over the flanges m, n.
