Abstract

Paper blocks and slabs; slabs.-Building blocks or slabs comprise two covering sheets 2, 3 of corrugated millboard or the like having intermediate strips 1 of like material placed on edge. The corrugated sheet of the strips is flanked by uniting. strips 5 of paper and the covering sheets are similarly provided. In a modification, two superposed series of intermediate strips placed at right angles to one another and separated by a corrugated sheet are provided, while in a further modification the intermediate strips are in cellular formation. The block or slab may be impregnated in known manner. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also blocks or slabs in which the intermediate strips are replaced by tubular pieces placed edgewise and with the edges of the block provided with side channels of the same material, while in another form the block may be of hexagonal shape having the tubular intermediate strips and with half rings arranged at the angles of the block. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
