Abstract
157,275. Prestwich, F. M. April 6. 1916, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Shirt cuffs; linings. - A reversible cuff comprises two outer faces 2, 3, stitched together around the edges and also along the line 8 to one or more interlinings, the stitching 8 along one long side of the cuff serving to secure it to the sleeve 1. When only one interlining is used it is either formed in two pieces 12, 13, Fig. 4, which are spaced apart at the fold-line, and joined by a bridge-piece 18, which may be perforated along the fold line, or formed of one piece 15 having perforations 19 along the fold line. Figs. 4, 5 and 6 show these two types of interlining combined in one cuff, the interlining 15 having a reinforcing strip 22 sewn to it on the free flap adjacent the fold-line.
