Abstract
Alkali perborates and perphosphates are produced by evaporating under reduced pressure and with moderate heating a mixture of concentrated hydrogen peroxide and alkali borate or orthophosphate. The alkali salts mentioned are sodium metaborate and disodium orthophosphate. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) contains also the following:-A sodium perborate of higher content of active oxygen may be obtained by evaporating the perborate produced as above described with hydrogen peroxide under reduced pressure and with moderate heating. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
