Shallow-overhung-blade fans.-In a fan for acting upon air carrying abrasive material, the blades 10 which carry the air are permanently secured to the side walls of the casing, and blades 8 which extend inwardly beyond the blades 10 handle or carry the abrasive material. The blades 8 are removably secured to the side walls of the casing.
