Abstract

155,404. Gregory, V. H. Oct. 7, 1919. Racks and the like.-A case or holder for a serial collection of objects, such as postage stamps arranged in order for reconstruction of an original sheet, is formed with an appropriate number of flat pockets arranged vertically and horizontally so that the stamps may be retained in their proper sequence and exposed simultaneously when the holder is opened. The pockets are formed by a number of strips b of celluloid, paper, or the like attached by one of their long edges to a foundation piece a so that they partly overlap one another, and divided vertically by sewing c or otherwise. The pockets are lettered or otherwise marked in correspondence with the check letters or other identification marks on the stamps &c. The case is arranged in four sections which fold together and is provided with covering flaps e, f, g. The horiozntal divisions may be formed by attaching to the case a a piece of material folded into serrated form, one side of each fold being longer than the other.
