Abstract

The boiler contains sections (1, 2) which contain, between water chambers, the gas passes (12, 14). The door (3) has, on the inner side, a thick insulating material (3a) in which two depressions (9a, 13) are arranged. The lower depression (9a) forms a part of the combustion chamber (9) and the upper depression (13) serves as a deflection vane for the flue gases between the two gas passes (12, 14). An uncooled gas-pass deflection plate (11) separates the combustion chamber (9) from the first gas pass (12). The door (3) with its insulating material (3a) and the depressions (9a, 13) thus assumes the task of an additional front section of the boiler. <IMAGE>
