Abstract

A sectional boiler for atmospheric gas burners is to be designed in such a manner so as to prevent the heating gases falling below the dew point and thus the formation of condensate. To this end, the pocket-like water chambers (3) of each boiler section (2) open with an upper corner region into a large-volume water hub (5), to which the boiler forward run (8) and the boiler return run (7) are connected. An internal mixing with a rapid rise in the return run temperature occurs in the water chambers (3).
