Abstract

154,314. Lever Bros., and Molyneux, B. J. Aug. 22, 1919. Hand-trucks. - The curved handles 7 of a hand-truck which are formed integral with the side-members 1, 2 and act as supports for the truck, are strengthened by metal flitch plates 8 arranged on edge and extending a short distance down the side members. The plates 8 may be applied on either side of the handles, but are preferably embedded in the handles as shown. The usual load-rest 5 is provided, and plates may extend therefrom down the upper faces of the side members 1, 2.
