Abstract

153,793. Limoges, J. D. W. Dec. 10, 1919. Wheel guards and obstruction-removers. - Across the front of a vehicle is arranged a resilient metal fender bent into the shape shown, with a central member 9 secured to the converging portions 5 and carrying a casing 13 in which are disposed projecting roller or ball members 14. A head lamp 16 is mounted on a collar 7, and carried at the outer ends of the fender are side lamps 17 preferably formed with coloured openings 18 at the front to indicate at night the side limits of the car. A mirror 20 may also be mounted on the fender. A resilient fender with projecting ball or roller members is fitted to the rear end of the car.
