1537072 Mixing apparatus A HEINEN GmbH MASCHINENFABRIK 8 Jan 1976 [14 Jan 1975] 00586/76 Heading B1C Apparatus for mixing fluent materials, e.g. tea, comprises a mixing drum mounted to rotate on rollers 1 and 2 and having a discharge opening 18 at one end which may feed into an outlet chute 17, a plurality of trough-like mixing blades 33 extending helically along the inside of the drum and extending up to the discharge opening end of the drum, adjacent which end each blade is radially enlarged to form a discharge scoop 34 tapering to the discharge opening 18. A blocking member 43, Fig. 3, may be provided to define an opening 42 on the chutes. A dust extractor 11 may be provided and the drum is charged at 29.
