Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify construction of a conveyor by scraping pulverized substance with scraping plates and filling up a plurality of hoppers sequentially after dropping the pulverized substance from buckets converted by the operation of the bucket conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: When a bucket conveyor 7 is operated, pulverized substance, thrown into respective buckets 8 through a material feeding port 6, is transported upwardly by the conveyor 7 to a position above a material throwing port 5 for first to third hoppers 1W3. Then, the substance is dropped sequentially as the buckets 8 are cnverted above the foremost end position of the material throwing port 5. Thereafter, the dropped pulverized substance is scraped evenly and spread toward the backward portion of the material throwing port 5 by scraping plates 10 of the converted buckets 8, and is loaded sequentially into respective hoppers 1W3 through a first to a third opening portions 5aW5c of the port 5. According to this method, a belt conveyor equipped with a scraper, such as conventionally provided, may be abolished and the construction of the conveyor may be simplified.
