Abstract

1535022 Wheels for endless track vehicles CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 25 April 1977 [9 Aug 1976 (2)] 17042/77 Heading B7H In a wheel, particularly for an endless track vehicle, limited radial movement of the rim relative to the hub may occur in response to forces F acting on the rim but the rim is resiliently biased to return to its normal position. A camming arrangement 25, 26, 27 causes a member 19 on the rim 14 to move away from a member 15 on the hub in a direction axially of the wheel when the rim moves radially, this movement being opposed by a resilient member 23.
