Abstract

1534792 Knitting machines ELITEX 4 March 1976 08604/76 Heading D1C A circular knitting machine has control units 1, 9 for the power and non-power functions of the machine each driven stepwise by mechanisms of which the second is controlled by an electromagnet controlled by an electronic control circuit in accordance with a desired number of revolutions of the needle cylinder, the second control unit carrying programmes to control the electric control circuit, the non-power functions and the first driving mechanism via a mechanical scanning device which can render it ineffective.
