Abstract

1534527 Compositions containing cyclopropanecarboxylic acids AMERICAN CYANAMID CO 24 Dec 1975 [13 Feb 1975] 52890/75 Heading A5B A method for the systemic control of ectoparasites which attack warm-blooded non- human animals comprises orally or parenterally administering to the animals a systemically effective amount, within the range of 0.01 mg. to 600 mg. per kg. animal body weight of a cyclopropanecarboxylic acid of the formula: wherein R is 2, 2-dichlorovinyl-, or 2-methylpropenyl and R 1 is H or CN. The cyclopropanecarboxylic acid may be incorporated into an animal feed.
