Abstract

1530563 Supply system for powder spraying HERTEL BV 27 May 1977 [23 March 1977] 22622/77 Heading B2L A supply system for spraying of fibrous material comprises a hopper 1 having at its bottom a screw conveyor 3 which lifts material to a roller 6 having on its periphery a plurality of projecting carrier pins; a distributor brush 7, rotating in the same sense as roller 6, spreads the material on roller 6 and returns excess to hopper 1 via device 8, 9; a further brush 10, rotating in the opposite sense to roller 6, removes material from the roller and feeds it via funnel 11 to the inlet end of fan 12; from the fan the material passes via a hose to a spray nozzle. There may be a pair of screw conveyors 3; all rotating parts may be driven by a common motor drive, controllable from adjacent the spray nozzle.
